KUALA LUMPUR: Asian Business Software Solutions Sdn Bhd (ABSS), a subsidiary of Censof Holdings Bhd, aims to get 125,000 micro and small businesses to use its new accounting software, Financio, by March 2018.
The business solutions provider launched Financio yesterday to help entrepreneurs with the financial side of business.
Its chief executive officer, Paul Conway, said many start-ups and small businesses could not afford or hire an accountant and they could lose track of their financials and potentially jeopardise their businesses.
“Financio is designed to be used by non-accountants. ABSS believes micro and small businesses are crucial to local economies, creating jobs, products and services,” he told reporters after the launch of Financio here.
The online web portal application is able to track sales, purchases, miscellaneous transactions and automatically generate financial reports and tax records.
Meanwhile, chief technology officer Jye Eng said Financio was made entirely in Malaysia, thus the service was made for Malaysian businesses to thrive. — Bernama
